Soul Care

Death Cafe

Volunteer Hospice hosts monthly death cafes, "Tea To Die For." Death Cafes are informal and unstructured conversations around coffee, tea, and cake. The conversations follow the guidelines of deathcafe.com, an organization founded by Jon Underwood in 2011 to promote death cafes around the world. Led by a facilitator, these one-and-a-half-hour meetings offer a relaxed environment to discuss any topic around death and dying. You are welcome to attend either or both. Registrations is not required, but it is appreciated: call 360-452-1511 no later than noon on the day of the Death Cafe.
